Robert Eugene Brashers

One of them I'm sure plenty of people are familiar with as a result of the notoriety of the case he is involved with.

For Robert Brashers, a prolific rapist and murderer who was recently connected to the infamous Austin Yogurt Shop murders, committed suicide before going to trial, and his DNA is subsequently not in CODIS.

And another, Joe Michael Irvin, a Dallas serial killer who murdered six women and shot a female police officer, also committed suicide before coming to trial and was unable to be convicted, and therefore his DNA is not currently in CODIS.

That's a gap, and it needs to be closed.
