Well, yeah, it's interesting because now decades later, it's a proper cult classic.

You know, if you get any of those sort of, uh, electro pop albums of that era, you'll almost find, almost always find that single on it, and it turns up in a Bret Easton, uh, Ellis novel.

It's a massive in the American dark wave scene as well, as well as in Europe actually.

Which is a lovely thread I think, because it's the opposite of sort of instant fame.

And we got a huge big deal with Virgin 10, which [laughs] another one, [laughs] that, uh, kind of like it went down right at the last minute.

So we, we'd done a lot of demos for that, uh, but never really released anything.

And then from there with Kevin, I went to America in a band called Gatecrash Heaven, and we got a management deal with, uh, Diane Ross's husband, who was Bob Ellis, who he was big up at MCA Records.

He signed Grandmaster and lot, lot of the early rap guys.
