So AngelList is a really unique business because, um, the way that it's structured, they have 40,000 active investments under the AngelList general partnership.

Um- Which made it probably the largest venture capital portfolio in the entire world.

Uh, and my role was to own all of our systems and processes from capital deployment to liquidity.

So we had to experiment constantly with novel mechanisms to manage a portfolio.

Um, in the case of IPOs or liquidity events, we worked with paying agents and transfer agents all the time to get hold of our shares so that we could liquidate them and return capital to our, our shareholders, and I happened to be there in 2021 and '22.

Um, I spent the better part of 18 months trying to work with every one of these transfer agents because we had so many IPOs, to figure out how to navigate them more efficiently.
