I mean, you go from Matt Entz, who's a, um, you know, North Dakota State, uh, very, uh, successful there, but had been a head coach for a long time and kind of stepped away from the, the nuances and the details of being a position coach, uh, going through position drills.

And then you go to Rob Ryan, who, you know, completely, uh, different approach from the NFL and a different defensive scheme and a different defensive lineage.

And now you've got Mike Eckler who comes over from Nebraska, who really came over because he was a special teams coach more than because he was a great linebackers coach.

And the linebackers, you know, there's certainly been a bit of a disconnect between them and the safety position and the defensive end position.

They're having to scramble.

And that is gonna be a huge issue for this team because if you get down, um, Rob Ryan's defense can be exposed through running the football.

If you can get a lead on the Saints and you can run a little bit- That's troublesome

It looked a lot like Rob Ryan's defense last night, that's for sure.

Back in 2013, I had to look this up to get the date, 'cause it just came into my mind, Rob Ryan was on the defensive staff of the St. Louis Rams.

He walked into Jeff Fisher's office, threw his keys on the deck- desk, walked out, and went to the McDonald's across the street.

So, you know, it stands to reason maybe there's a little bit of hesitation there, and guys are, you know, getting all kinds of different information from different coaches.

You know, you go back to Matt Entz, and then you go to the Rob Ryan stint, and now you're in the Mike Eckler stint, which, you know, when Mike Eckler was hired, I thought that was him coming in to be a sole special teams coach.

Yeah.

I kind of feel like the way special team is playing, that's where he needs to focus things.

Yeah, I think he's done coaching for the most part.

Rob Ryan, I'm telling you, now we're off the rails entirely.

I don't see Rob Ryan's name on their website, but according to Wikipedia, he's still somehow a part of the team.

In fact, um, we had a defensive coordinator, um, which was R- Rob Ryan.

Yeah.

He was, he was convinced he was gonna stop the pass because most teams weren't gonna run the ball.

That's part of who he is.

You know, it's like Rob Ryan, Rex Ryan's brother, was a, you know, a very accomplished defensive coordinator.

He was a loud mouth and cause.

distractions and all those kind of things you can be like well you know i mean that's because he doesn't know he doesn't shut his mouth i know all of that is part of the package like i get it people are wronged like everybody in every line of work i mean i can tell you about my mom you know back in the day being harassed and and losing a job because she was a woman but do you sue a federal judge like she worked in the court system and like you're never going to win uh get a judge to make a judgment against a judge you're better off just moving on and go get your next job Lots of people have those situations.
