So my name's Rob Heard.

Uh, I was a former police officer for 30 years, and 27 years I was, uh, head...

I was in roads policing, riding motorbikes and cars.

And whilst I was in the police, I also worked as a senior investigating officer, meaning that if there was a fatality or potential fatality, I would get called out to manage that scene and subsequent investigation.

Now, as a result of many fatalities, and some of them involving older drivers, I identified that there was a real need to help and support mature and older drivers about carrying on driving safely for longer.
