It's interesting, the choice of wording, isn't it? rising too because you've had 80 million quid from Sky Sports and Rob Dorsett we've had 100 million from a lot of journos the one thing does seem to be mentioned provided they're safe and a lot of the articles understandably have Lamine Kamara mentioned as an alternative well this is important to say there's another alternative being mentioned today It's not a new name, that would be a lie, but an intriguing name.

We don't know what that's gonna be.
I

But there was, um, a report from Sky Sports News reporter Rob Dorsett over the weekend talking about whether Premier League clubs would expel City from the league, and it, it just caught my eye because I know on Wednesday's show, I think the four of you, Joe and Tony included, were talking about whether that would be the case, and I think the majority of you said that you think they would vote for City to leave the league.
I

So where did I go? Um, So, obviously, if expulsion was just going to lead to going into the championship, it's no different than just giving them an 80-point deduction, right? It doesn't really matter any different.
J

So I saw Rob Dorsett on Sky when he was in Prague doing the England game reported that the EFL rules state that any new member, so if they were expelled from the Premier League, they would have to apply to the EFL.
J

And if accepted, they would go in at League Two.

Unless there was a vote By the 72 EFL clubs, in the same way the Premier League, you need 14 out of 20 to get a change of rule.

J

What a performance from Alex.
J
6:02Jack HillmanHOST
yeah it looks really comfortable but it says in my notes here speak about the obvious the obvious being that we've just found out the news this morning that Alex actually played through an injury it seems to make his England first England start with his what was it his quads his quads yeah it looks like it's up to two months from most journalists but Rob Dorsett from Sky said that it could be weeks not months so we're really unclear on the time frame but we're going to assume it is two months But then we also found out that his grandfather unfortunately passed away during the international break.
J
6:36Jack HillmanHOST
So he kind of played for him.
J
6:39Jack HillmanHOST
So it's really sad news for Alex with his grandfather.
