Roatán

list? I've had some friends who've gone to Puerto Rico for like their son's senior trip and have played multiple courses along that way.

I keep looking at whether or not I want to buy or live in Roatan.

in Honduras.

And they've got a number of golf courses on that small little Island.

tell us about yeah so that one it's our first time doing this so intentionally i chose something that wasn't going to be as popular right like uh the symphony of the seas oasis class ship it's a fantastic ship but galveston's a less popular location uh and it's it's over our spring break so the whole family can be there so it's going to be like a smaller group and that's by design because the first time i want to figure out what we need to know before we do a bigger one but uh You know, we're so we're doing that seven days out of Galveston, three sea days.

We got Costa Maya, Cozumel, Roatan.

It'll be a nice itinerary to be really a smaller, more intimate group.

It'll be really awesome.

Okay.

Is Roatan in Honduras.

Yeah.

In the winter, generally after December.

Yes.

But you are going to have great diving, great snorkeling, and great beach weather.

And Roatan sits right on, I don't know if that's still technically the Belize Barrier Reef.

I want to say that's all near there because it's the second largest...

on a cruise? Where?

Uh, we went to Roatan, Honduras, and wait, what was the last part? Did you, wait, did you get down in Honduras? Yeah, I got to get down.

Really? Actually, my cousin got married in Roatan.

That's where she ended up.

What's that been like? How'd you get into

that? A friend of mine has a cabin, a house on Roatan.

And so I've been fortunate enough to be invited to go on a couple of those trips.

And every time you go out, it's just a reminder of how alien this place is.

I stayed there, talked to the people.

Some of them near Roatan, they speak a kind of Creole idiom.

I thought that's kind of interesting.

So I had that.

She's probably late, middle, late 20s.

I said to her, why are you going to Honduras? She said, well, I'm going to Roatan, I'm going diving.

Now this, I didn't know much about the Bay Islands at that point, but obviously we're on part of the second largest barrier reef system of the world, so there's great diving in the Bay Islands.

And I said, well, that's really cool.
