Well, it took further development, and there was a key development that occurred right about that same time.

When Conrail had abandoned the Bedford branch, they had also abandoned what was called the Morrison's Cove branch, which was in the neighborhood from Roaring Spring out to Martinsburg and Curryville.

And that track had been sold to the rail shippers.

There were a couple of feed mills out there and a printing plant.

If we weren't successful, we'd have nobody to blame but ourselves.

So that was sort of behind it and from the business side, you know, the passion was there, the interest was there, but there was a genuine need to develop some diversity in our revenue stream.

And this became critical after the pandemic in 2021 during the pandemic, the paper mill in Roaring Spring closed and they had been our biggest freight customer.

uh and they were a big chunk of our business and so coming out of the pandemic uh we really had to focus on diversifying our revenue stream and the passenger train was the the obvious way to do that because we had made that investment we had that equipment and we had that opportunity
