To close out today's news, we turn to Rivian.

CEO RJ Scaringe confirmed in a New York Times interview that the upcoming R3 SUV will be pri- priced, quote, "materially lower than the R2", with previous comments suggesting a target in the mid to high 30K range, down from the R2's $45,000 starting point, and well below the RI- R1T and RIS, R1S, which start at 80 grand and 84,000 respectively.

A fourth model, the R4, is planned and would move pricing even lower, extending Rivian's reach further into the mass market.

R2 deliveries, well, they're just beginning, with the Performance trim now available at 58,000 and the standard 45,000 version slated for R- 2027.
