And we're driving over this mountain road with a lot of hairpin turns, and he's like sliding around the corners.

His dad was a professional singer and explained Dan's love of music.

And so Dan, when he came out to Riverside, he literally Riverside International Raceway was his backyard.

When you say it was Dan Gurney's home track.

Yeah, it was his home and the track.

chief and we were going to have our first ever 500 mile race at Riverside International Raceway in Riverside California that happens to be a road course and it went away in 1980 after 1988 it's no longer there it's a big shopping center now but anyway it was very famous well regarded There were stars from all over the country at this event.

And we had a very competitive car.

It was a good race car.

And so we've seen the innovation, but I grew up in the Can-Am era.

And, you know, there was road racing, and we went to Riverside Raceway, we went to Laguna Seca, we went to Sears Point, I went to all those places with my dad.

Right.

But then all of a sudden there's this Can-Am series.
