River East Royal Knights

Well, now you've got September.

With Terry Sawcheck being closed and West Kildonan being closed, you've got River East Minor Hockey, Seven Oaks Minor Hockey, the River East Royal Knights, we're all scrambling for the same ice times.

So the Royal and the community services, when you call them, which I have not done, and they haven't called me after 45 years of running this club, They've never thought, maybe they should talk to me or send me an email or something.

They can certainly get a hold of me.

And his son played for us for three years, and he coached for me last year.

So he knows the league or our team as a player, as a father, and as a coach.

And so I'm passing the torch on to him because he probably wants to continue with the name River East Royal Knights, continue with our colors of purple and gold.

So I'm comfortable that I'm leaving it to somebody that will continue the tradition.
