I mean, it's amazing.

And I think when a lot of these comedy teams, like we were just saying, you know, they transitioned to making feature films, whether it was Abbott and Costello or or the Ritz brothers, or the Marx brothers, or whatever, the Stooges continued to have this success with their short films, and then because they had made so many of those, as their popularity kind of dipped, as we said, this is toward a point where their popularity waned, but when TV took off in the 50s and 60s, all of those shorts started airing on TV and they became hugely popular again.

And that was when they finally made their own feature films in the 1960s.

It was a silent mystery involving a terrifying gorilla and a series of apparent murders.

The story was subsequently filmed again, including a 1939 version starring the Ritz brothers and Bela Lugosi.

Bela Lugosi was one of their most famous early silent movie stars.

So, at this point, Hollywood understood something very simple.
