It is not at all inconceivable that some sort of talent and resource combining, particularly around cybersecurity and cyber defense, might actually be valuable.

In other words, hold aside all the other debates about X-risk and AI kill switches and things like that.

One thing that's for sure is that we're going to be dealing with a new era of cybersecurity concerns thanks to advanced AI.

Having a central body that provides support around cybersecurity to other arms of the military might not be a crazy notion.

I'm just looking at that number and I hate to pick at the worst year.

But of course, when you're assessing your risk and buying a business, that's precisely the year you focus in on.

That is a huge peak to trough, $12 million to $2 million.

And that this business could fall to $2 million is pretty significant.

Some banks don't move as quickly.

And so you would feel like you had a slam dunk case.

And then the committee says, well, no, that's not for a risk profile.

It's too much government exposure, too much exposure to Puerto Rico, a lot of different cases.

All right, well, without repeating ourselves too much from everything that we covered here today, really end of the day, you won't predict every individual chargeback, but you can identify those conditions that make one more likely.

So the objective here is just to fix the recurring patterns before they become a larger problem.

When you get paid, when you actually win on a betting institution, you're expecting your payout from the house.

You're taking credit risk with the house.

When you win on an exchange, Risk is mutualized.

Everybody has put up money up front, and that pot of money is where you get your payment from.

And if something goes wrong with that pot of money, it's a clearinghouse, separate and distinct from the exchange, typically, that does the payout.
