Risk of Rain 2

The real, I could feel the addiction just seeping back into my body.

Just reading the title, Risk of Rain 2, Hallowed Concepts.

Looks like a spooky Halloween themed expansion for Risk of Rain.

Hallowed Concepts as new regions, enemies, and bosses to fight in the dark cult-like world of N'Kuha.

I love Risk of Rain 2.

I love Risk of Rain 2.

And just looking at any amount of gameplay, I'm like, Steam's already updating in the background, baby.

I got to get back in there.

Like the thing is, I don't have a problem with talking about that, right? But I don't know if that...

The thing I'm thinking about when it comes to writing feedback, if I, from the fact that I am terminally bad at doing that because I never know what I'm supposed to say, is wanting the things that I do say to reach the people who make the game, right? Like I want, I don't know, "Hey, devs, if you're out there, hopefully if we ever talk about your game, um, you will hear about it and hear wonderful things, because we like talking about things that we like over here, you know, even w- as we're talking about social ills and tech and justice and all of that." So at some point, for example, we will be talking about the fact that Risk of Rain 2 has new DLC.

I saw that and I immediately thought of you.

Listed games include Pony Island 2, Outward 2, Dave the Diver, and Risk of Rain 2.

Uh, it starts immediately after the usual GMM, so just hang out here, everybody.

Yeah.

So that's a game that I wanna pick up, and there's another game called Lort that kind of has Risk of Rain 2 vibes that I'm looking at.

Oh, okay.

Uh, so I may pick that up as well.

it can be difficult to have, like, a sequel be the level up, right? 'Cause another one of my examples is to go from Risk of Rain 1, which is a 2D platforming roguelike, to-

Risk of Rain 2, which is a 3D action platforming rogue- roguelike, which is, um, very, very different in a lot of different ways, and I think is vastly superior to the first one.

Um, like, that, that's a sequel that isn't just doing more of the same.

It's like, "We're gonna completely shake everything up and see if we can do this from a different, um," like, not in a different genre, from, but from a different perspective, um, rather than just like, well, Hades II.

Cool.

You need to look into Risk of Rain 2 if you liked this game.

It's a much more like highly polished kind of, you know, it's been out for a while, has some expansions on the Steam sale for eight bucks right now as well.

Of course, there's expansions and stuff that you can buy as well.

And when I don't, then it suffers a bit.

We can even be less ambitious and compare it to a more obvious comparison set like Risk of Rain 2.

Yeah, sure.

Where

Yeah.

It's not as incredibly potent as getting, you know, that one lightning boon from Zeus that completely changes what you're going to do.

But at least the upgrades in Risk of Rain 2 feel more satisfying.

And the characters get to do cool stuff.
