and like you can't just replicate that by making another mmo i think riot has a very very steep hill to climb and given the 2x ko debacle i'm very dubious that they're able to publishing publish anything new since valorant and i think it remains to be seen just look at riot forge was not the best uh use of capital or attention for riot and 2x ko similar outcome and i'm dubious that the mmo is going to change anything there so bullshit on just MMOs outside of the existing ecosystem, but very bullish on the ones that are out there now.

They're going to continue to gobble up all the attention because they have their community, their sunk costs, their network effects, all the things that make MMOs MMOs.

Interesting to hear that you don't think Riot has this one in the bag.

And the challenge they have with any new entrant of any new game is, are we making the same money from that player? Because they're not expanding the pie, they're just giving that pie more stuff.

Are we making the same amount of money from that player if they go from League to playing this other thing? And the answer is continuously no.

That's why they shut down Riot Forge.
