And, you know, you expected once this change happened, that it would be the English teams that would take advantage.

And then, you know, probably your big market teams like Quebec and maybe Rimouski because they're close to the Maritimes.

And then Maritime teams play Maritime teams.

But the conferences are, you have the six Maritime slash Atlantic teams are in the same conference with Quebec, Chicoutimi, Baycomo, and Rimouski.

So in terms of the powers, I think there is a real, real concentration in the Maritimes this year.

Uh, there's no Tommy Blile, for example.

Uh, there's no, uh, you know, go back to the Memorial Cup in Rimouski, which of course we were all there to see, was one of the reasons why the Moncton Wildcats couldn't get, get past, uh, the London Knights.

Um, they didn't, they didn't have that, that sort of commanding presence.

So we have a bit of a women's and plein air evening.

So at the public bath, we're going to raise the funds for active girls at that time.

I kind of did the player personnel stuff and I enjoyed it.

Um, and then, you know, change kind of came around my last year there, Paul Fenton kind of came in and my contract was expiring and, uh, you know, I think it was, I was on my way to Rimouski actually, or on my way back.

Uh, you know, I think in the scouting life, um, there's a lot of times where you feel 10,000 feet from, you know, from helping anybody or doing anything.

And, you know, I was driving back a little bit of a snow storm and I, I just really felt the need, um, that, you know, I really wanted to be back in the trenches.

I think that's where the risk is.

Um, and I, as much as I agree with my colleagues that the waiting for the midterms seems to be the, the strategy or wait it out, we're in no rush, sure, but the more and more you see companies, like in Rimouski and Quebec announcing temporary for now, um, job losses, or other companies in other parts of Quebec or the country having to close and, and, and fire people temporarily but maybe eventually permanently, um, it's harder to...

It's going to get harder to make that argument that it's best to wait.

We have the best trade deal as of now because we still have, uh, CUSMA.
