Marcy and I still laugh at this.

We took, we took Eisenhower out to Manhattan for the Riley County Fire Department, Riley County Fire Department Banquet and awards ceremony.

Yeah.

Okay? Mm-hmm.

They all leave and their families are stuck with Ike.

I don't think they wanted to hear Ike.

I didn't check to see if there really was a fire in Manhattan and Riley County, but the place just emptied.

Cleared out.

The Mustang football team played Donovan West, winning 13-0.

On Saturday, the high school volleyball team headed to Riley County for a tournament, placing fourth.

Monday night, Valley Heights hosted C-team games going 1-3 on the night.

JV football went to Donovan West.

Obviously wasn't there because he was Oklahoma? High school? Who? Will Shields.

He wasn't at Riley County, right? I feel like I would have known that.

I'm not sure

where Will Shields went to high school.

We'll have a best of tomorrow.

Cole is heading out for the, uh, B104.7 Carver-Wanna Manhattan Game of the Week, Riley County-St. Mary's, and, uh, myself and the crew, we're heading out to, uh, Shawnee for number one versus number two in 6A.

Manhattan, the defending state champions, Mill Valley, has moved up to 6A.

They have...

Over at the Waubonsie tournament, the Citrelia Lady Panthers take first, going 6-0 throughout the tournament, while Axel takes third, going 4-2.

Elsewhere, at the Marysville Invitational, Valley Heights goes two and two in pool play, defeating Sabeth and Concordia while falling to Riley County and Holton.

And in a quad at Ellis, Lynn finishes the week in 3-0.

Looking at the current Twin Valley League standings, Centrega, Lynn, Hanover, and Axtell all undefeated, while Valley Heights, Clifton Clyde, and Washington County are all 1-1.
