was born in 1947, country music singer who followed in his famous father's footsteps, racking up over 30 hits on the country music charts on Billboard during the 1970s and '80s.

Woody Paul was born in 1949, talented singer and fiddle player, real name Paul Chrisman, who found fame as a member of the Grammy Award-winning Western revival group Riders in the Sky.

Ira Dean was born in 1969, bassist and singer who co-founded the early 2000s hit country trio Trick Pony.

Shelly Fairchild was born in 1977, country music singer-songwriter famous for her 2005 debut album Ride and the hit single that was on it, "You Don't Lie Here Anymore." Mark Hudson was born in 1946, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and television personality who found fame performing alongside his brothers in The Hudson Brothers before becoming a sought-after Grammy Award-winning producer for Aerosmith.

He's doing it.

And Riders in the Sky as well are still out there playing.

They're in age, but they're still going.

yeah, the album that Riders in the Sky did.

Wow, yeah.

... which is pretty funky.

But it's also, you know, really cool to be on the bill with someone who's top 40 country radio or Riders in the Sky, who've been around, or Dom Flemons, who's more bluegrass.

And it's exciting that they are reflecting what's going on, not only just in Nashville, but in- Like country folk Americana music, and they're using that space to expose their audience to it.
