Ricoh GR digital cameras

The Pen makes a very welcome addition to the existing options of a Fujifilm X100VI, which is built around my preferred single focal length, and the Panasonic L10, whose lens covers a very useful range with a combination of brightness and size that even the Pen would struggle to match.

Add these to the Ricoh GR IVs with a 40 millimeter equivalent X version in the works, and you have some really interesting options.

All of these cameras are imperfect in one way or another.

The L10's lens isn't everything you might hope for, the Pen's AF is distinctly quirky, and after six iterations, Fujifilm has managed to make the X100VI a bit more fiddly than it needs to be.

If Ricoh could get, so, I mean, just, just why, you know, give context to the listeners and viewers, like why it wasn't a surprise to us because this is classic Ricoh.

They'll, you know, they'll come up with a new version of their GR camera, which will have the major changes to handling, maybe image quality sensor, that kind of stuff.

And then they'll make these versions that they commonly do.

They'll have their standard wide angle.

That's typically what they've done.

And we've seen that repeat that pattern repeat a couple of times here.

Um, So this has the new handling features of the GR4, which I think are very positive.

We talked about that in the review.

This is the most advanced camera out of, out of Reto to date, and not only that, it looks good.

At 40 yards, it looks like a Ricoh GR.

And more importantly is the lens.

This is a three element all glass coated lens.
