Do you have any tips or tricks for people who are like, it's really hard for me to get people to come to things like this? After you've done it for so many years, what are some of the

tips and tricks of the trade? No, just to say the hardest thing is getting people to come on the course.

to come to the series, and often that's 18 months.

So you ask them, they don't come.

And sometimes you'll run two little Christian Explorers a year, maybe one in the spring, one in the fall.

And then but she's trying to put together a Christian framework without God.

But it's amazing in this book.

I mean, you know, the titles.

And this is before she's converted.

Can you unpack that a bit for us in terms of how you would present the gospel about Jesus in the terms of the creation for redemption and consummation or new creation.

An introvert may find it very difficult to talk to a stranger about something personal.

spiritual sure well I think what we've got to see is the New Testament talks about evangelism in three different ways so there is the evangelist whose job in Ephesians 4 10 and 11 is to equip God's people for works of service so my job at my church is to help the church family speak to their friends there's then the pastor who in 2 Timothy 4 is to do the work of the evangelist and then thirdly all of us to be witnesses and by the way the word witness has as its root the word martyr so it's going to be uncomfortable But my job, therefore, is to say to the church family, OK, let's start trying to speak to our friends.

And I tend to say four things as I'm trying to get them going.

Number one, celebrate people.

God sovereignly has put people, Acts 17, on your street with you.

He decides the times and places we all have.

He gives us each breath.

How did that happen? You mentioned your first time explaining to your friend about the gospel, but how did that happen for you? Who reached out to you?
