Ricky Stanicky

Like I like him generally, but there are times when I feel like he can go a little too far.

And like we talked about Ricky Stanicki when that came out several years ago.

Like that's a bit too much Cena for me.

But I wonder what you thought about his performance here.

And one thing I really like about this movie, like, I'm a sucker for a good, you know, like, odd couple sort of dynamic, but...

there antonio is able to relay so much emotion without using english it's one of those things where you just go wow like like that is a skill in itself like it's a skill to be able to convey emotion fucking anyway but to be able to do it without using english and really just selling it with your facial expressions in your body in your in your body language um she's amazing she's absolutely amazing at that and her and karen gillen their chemistry is just it's it's on display from that hotel room scene like like from jump you're like okay these two are gonna this is gonna be a fun ride and they go ahead and they start to learn more about each other they start um they start going to like to the movies together and and uh like going to plays and just it's really it's really endearing and i'm a sucker for good dramedy so of course you know this is gonna get uh dramatic at points um the caveat as far as like the uh where the drama comes from is from uh louise really not wanting to move forward with her life because of some circumstances and i'll leave it kind of vague so you can discover for yourself Louise lives with this guy named Brick, who is played by Jermaine Fowler, who of course you know from Sorry to Bother You, The Drop, and Ricky Stanicki more recently.

Oh yeah, he was in Stung, wasn't he? So, yeah, he's been in a good amount of stuff.

And, of course, he's James Jr. on Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, which if you have not seen Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, go watch that shit.

Good grief.

I'd forgotten, while you're thinking about that, I'd forgotten about Ricky Stanicki.

Ricky Stanicki, now I will say, Ricky Stanicki was good.

I did enjoy that.

You liked it too? I did.

Mm, that was my first cut was Fran Brown.

You know, you gotta ask yourself what was the anomaly? '24 where you won nine or 10 games, or last year where you won three? I think the last year one was, look, losing Steve Angeli and not having Akam Akor was problematic because, um, uh, Ricky, Ricky, do, Ricky lost his number.

That entire season was the end of, uh, Boys in the Hood, just yelling, "Ricky!" [laughs]

Ricky Stanicki.

That's right.

You might have seen him in the show Superior Donuts.

I saw him in this movie called Ricky Stanicki.

He's been doing some things.

I think he's kind of like a comedy guy.
