Ricky Schroder

Well, he was, I think started in silver spoons.

I mean, that's going way back with Ricky Schroeder, Ricky, but I had no idea until the last year or two, thanks to social media, that Justine Bateman is very much a conservative.

Yes.

And not afraid to actually talk about being a conservative and, And Bill Maher, to give him credit, will actually talk to conservatives.

She's like, you know who that is, John Voight? I'm like, no idea.

Because, I mean, the only movie I remember him being in was The Champ with Ricky Schroeder.

You ever see that?

You were watching Runaway

And when I share that story with people, they're like, oh, you know, my E.T. is Willy Wonka.

Or my E.T. is this movie with Ricky Schroeder.

And there was a scene where they were in an RV and it goes off a cliff.

And I'm like, so like I try to relate.

And that was my first job.

I worked on that for two years, and I remember Ricky Schroeder and Silver Spoons and Jason Bateman riding around on his bicycle at Universal.

And so in recent years, his adult years, whenever I see him, I say, oh, there's a terror of... of Universal Studios.

He remembered me.

gosh.

Now, I want to talk about our childhoods, Cowboy, because you and I grew up apart from each other, but you and I and every other BL I meet, I can mention a certain scene in a movie like the Ricky Schroeder bathing suit wardrobe malfunction.

Okay, so

I can't listen to much of that because it's too freaky.

He also was, oh, was that him? I don't think that was him.

Ricky Schroeder from Silver Spoons.

He was a little cutie.

Blonde hair, blue eyes.

Brad was from Missouri, and he'd done a little movie with a friend Dave Cheryl up in Vancouver, like a little, like ABC-

Was it the one with Ricky Schroder?

Yeah.

With Ricky Schroder.

I thought he was...

I happened to see a screening of that.

...

Ricky Schroder's best friend way back when, so he's been around.

He sure has.

Yes.
