Tom ZawistowskiHOST

On October 14th, three House Republican committee leaders sent DHS Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen a letter asking him to strip vessels operated by Chinese state-owned shipper COSCO of their enrollment in the Coast Guard's Qualship 21 program.
Tom ZawistowskiHOST
65:52
What the hell is that? The signers are Chinese Select Committee Chairman John Moolenaar of Michigan, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford of Arkansas, et cetera.
Tom ZawistowskiHOST

The Qualship 21 Rewards Foreign Commercial Ship program, um, basically says that these companies have strong safety and compliance records with fewer routine inspections at US ports.
Tom ZawistowskiHOST
66:14
The AFIC Time notes enrollment does not exempt ships from security checks or other law enforcement inspections, but it says that they get fewer of them because they've, they've passed them in before.
Wendy BellHOST
8:50
Really? Joe Biden's Homeland Security team didn't wanna...
Wendy BellHOST
8:55
They didn't want to investigate that? No, they were too busy ushering in how many millions of people? Now, Benny Johnson has House Intelligence Chairman Rick Crawford on, and this guy is...
Wendy BellHOST
9:09
He's seen all of the details.
Wendy BellHOST
9:11
He said, "Look, Ilhan Omar [laughs] was the tip of the spear of a criminal enterprise." This is why I believe it has to do with the money and Al-Shabaab.
Brent BirchHOST
2:10
In fact, the farm my dad hunts and has leased for, I think this will be 45 years, somewhere in the ballpark of 45 years, they farmed 1,000 less acres this year.
Cason ShortHOST
2:27
Yeah, it's... it's tough um i mean obviously rice acres were down a lot so that's going to lend itself to a much quicker harvest because you can you can really walk through some beans with a combine so that's a lot quicker but it is tough you know farmer and i were having a pretty good gripe session the other day we were talking about you know diesel fuel right now i think i don't know what it is right now i haven't bought it because we haven't watered but uh over well over four dollars a gallon this summer um and we asked him you know what was the cheapest he ever bought a load of fuel and i don't remember his answer it was a little bit lower than mine but i think mine was 79 cents a gallon was the cheapest farm fuel ever bought now you got to keep in mind back then it was actually high sulfur fuel through all the refining and all that we've gone away so what we're using now used to be highway fuel in terms of the low soil floor versus ultra low and anyway without getting on that road but but yeah it's difficult i mean because you look at you know every other input that we use has gone up the same way but our commodity prices have not you know haven't gone up 500 so it's just i mean i've said this before death by a thousand cuts but man it's just got you in a stranglehold right now and it's That was one of the questions I wish I could have gotten to with Congressman Crawford was, you know, at one point you could make the argument that rice saved ducks, right? Like we cleared all these bottom land forests and the ducks adapted to rice production.
Cason ShortHOST
3:59
But, you know, the question I look at now is can ducks save farming? Can they save rice in this part of the world? pretty bleak.
Cason ShortHOST
4:07
It's pretty bleak, although rice prices
Brent BirchHOST
6:40
I mean, you think about all these little towns that don't have just a whole lot of activity in the months outside of duck season.
Brent BirchHOST
6:51
and then what they become when the season is here.
Brent BirchHOST
6:54
And, you know, Congressman Crawford referenced it, you know, how the non-resident dollar, how much more it amplifies the economy and the spend.
Brent BirchHOST
7:08
You know, you take a town, I mean, Hunter is obviously a little bitty spot on the map, Almyra, places like that.
Andrea TiceHOST

Oh, let me tell you what I know about, for example, the recruitment of ISIS in the Western Hemisphere.
Rod BlagojevichGUEST
54:35
The other question is, how much of this is being driven by foreign entities? And if that is going on in Minnesota the way I believe it might very well be, I have to think there's a real possibility that it's being aided and abetted by enemies of the United States, not just Somalia, I don't mean Somalia, but even bigger powerful forces that are sort of interfering in our elections from other places who have an agenda that is very much anti-American.
Benny JohnsonHOST
55:02
Yeah, the Intel Committee Chairman Rick Crawford from Arkansas called Ilhan Omar a threat to national security and parallel and tangential to some of the terror groups that run Somalia like Boko Haram and ISIS.
Benny JohnsonHOST
55:17
And that was pretty startling, saying that there needs to be some pretty firm citizenship tests for who's running for office.
Benny JohnsonHOST
55:25
It's crazy that we live in this timeline.
Bill AdamsHOST
5:10
I started to see this trending.

Bill AdamsHOST

Bill AdamsHOST
5:53
This isn't just playing politics.
Bill AdamsHOST
5:55
This isn't just about marrying her brother, although that would be bad enough." Here's what Representative Rick Crawford said, the beginning of it, and then we'll get to the, the rest of it.

And remember now, since this is the National Defense Authorization Act, it is the, the leadership in the intelligence committees and the armed services committees in both the House and the Senate who really make the determination with regard to this particular bill.
Danny SheehanHOST
34:09
Okay? So the, the, the people that you need to concentrate on in the House of Representatives, the head of the House Intelligence Committee is Rick Crawford from Arkansas, and the chairman of the Armed Services Committee in the House is Mike Rogers of Alabama.
Danny SheehanHOST
34:29
Okay? These are two of the people that you need to really focus on and start directing communications to them to insist that they support the passage into the NDAA of the Burleson Bill.
Danny SheehanHOST
34:41
Okay? On the Senate side, you need to focus on the, the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, who is Roger Wicker.
