And it's I've been reading a lot of Richard Yates and thinking I want to write a revolutionary road that is gay.

Because I've never ever, I've never read that before.

I've never read a novel that is about gay men living in a house and it's all about the sort of quietness and banal claustrophobia of domestic life that just so happens to be between two men rather than a man and a woman and it's not about their gayness it's not about their being gay it's about their being a married couple and yeah shockingly it's something I've never read before so I thought I'd give it a go
