24:13
A painful one.
24:13
one.Thank you so much.
24:15
It's really, uh, so interesting, um, you, you, you know, kind of quoting those bits from the poems 'cause, um, I have a kind of really interesting reaction to that, which is kind of like, it's almost feels kind of therapeutic in a way.
24:28
Like, um, in, you know, sometimes in a therapy session, therapists will, um, use a word that you've used, and they'll kind of quote it back to you, and it can be quite impactful.
24:40
And just hearing you quote those various bits from the poem sort of makes me think and sets me off spinning and, um, yeah, it's really lovely that you would do that.
24:48
It's very generous.
24:49
And, um, yeah, I think you're, you're right.

12 MINS LATER

36:50
Um, I wonder if you could talk about some of the lines in this poem, Emerald, and the, the, you know, the ones that strike you, and then I'd love to talk about that final line, "Recovery is possible."

Now, for those of you that
3:55
have spoken with us before or been around this industry before, you'll be very well used to the principles.
4:05
But for anyone new, it's worth going through how this normally works, but how we do it differently.
4:11
Electrolysis uses electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen.
4:16
You take the H2O and you make it H2 and O.
4:20
What normally happens is that water comes into a stack, you add the electricity and it splits them apart, and then it uses a very expensive, very fragile membrane at its heart to keep them apart.
4:32
It's usually made of platinum or iridium or both.

24:14
Thank you.
11:33
Well, that's my, my thoughts.
11:34
Yeah.
11:35
[laughs] Yeah.
11:36
Thank you.
11:36
I mean, it's really interesting that you talk about time like that.
11:39
I mean, the crystal is this really shocking, uh, you know, glimpse into deep time.
11:45
Like, the crystal could be four million years old.

8 MINS LATER

20:13
Um, and Richard, you're gonna read a poem that you've chosen as an inspiration, and, um, you're welcome to say a word or two about the poem before you read it, or you can just go ahead and read.

But when would it be applied? When would it be bad? What does it do? What is it? And when would anybody need to have it?
1:03
Well, thank you.
1:04
And I'm grateful.
1:05
It's good to have suggestions because otherwise I've got to think up or find something in the paper.
1:10
So when you suggested methadone, and that's really good.
1:13
I think you'd said you'd had chats with ex-prisoners.
1:17
Something like five conversations in quick succession was like God was really... prompting to say, let's look into methadone.

So wouldn't a blocker be the thing that fixes heroin because they wouldn't want to take it because it won't work? Or am I completely missing this?
Andy B

2:13
Yes, critical thinking, the one thing that schools should be teaching and never do.
2:18
Indeed.
2:18
Well, maybe in these days of fake news, it's going to have to be taught.
2:22
You know, how can you evaluate what you read? Yeah, absolutely true.
2:26
So where are we going today then, Richard? Well, yeah, topical, absolutely.
2:31
Usually we talk about a disease that I've had some sort of experience of, or at least come across patients with it.
2:37
um so that covers caffeine vaping we've just talked about stopping smoking cold dipping or even most recently ketamine uh because i'd had a uh an addict to ketamine and all the problems he'd had and then suddenly it was in the news well today's a bit different in that i've got no experience of this one at all it's a virus in the news hanta virus you may or may not have come across andy but this virus hitting people on the cruise ship including some Brits.

yeah i never done a cruise i i guess the closest i came was going from harwich to denmark which was i think a couple of three days or something it's not very far it's not a cruise cruise it's just it's a long ferry ride um but yeah i suppose cruise ships in our heads is that we can isolate easily everyone's got their own cabin their own toilet and bathroom great just isolate everybody but but it doesn't work that way in reality.
