Richard Mazza

I grew up, like I said, in Vermont.

And one of my first jobs was working at Dick Mazza's general store.

And Dick Mazza was a senator for Vermont.

And later, I perplexity researched him a few years ago after he had passed.

And I found that he was actually one of the most non-biased senators that we had.

And Howard Dean, it was just something you could bank on.

You know who you should thank for that is Dick Mazza.

Dick Mazza was one of my most loyal friends, in addition to being the chairman of the Institutions Committee for years and years and years.

He always made sure the Housing and Conservation Fund was taken care of.

He made sure Vince Luzzi appropriated the money in the capital bill.
