Richard Gerver

Now, today's guest is someone who once turned around a failing school in under two years, and he did it to such a degree that he earned the nickname the Walt Disney of the classroom.

Coming in from London in the UK, we have renowned change and leadership expert, Mr. Richard Gerver.

Richard, thanks for joining us.

Tan, it's fantastic to see you.

I'm here right and she ran into my room um and of course later you realized what a spectacular practitioner what an amazing hire she was unbelievably ran into my room Richard I've been thinking I want to build a television station for our kids so I'm like first of all how dare you I didn't say it to her but in my head I mean how dare you well I'm the head teacher knock on my door I want reverence she Richard, I want, right? I'm like, so I had to get over myself, right? I had to get over my ego because that was my first instinct.

And then my second ego was to feel threat because what she'd actually come up with was a bloody brilliant idea.

But how dare she come up with a brilliant idea that wasn't my idea, right? So then my ego gets in the way.
