Richard Cassidy

I'm Sam.

In this episode, Sam and I watch our P's and Q's as we discuss the 1978 proto-slasher Crazed, directed by Richard Cassidy.

Without a doubt, Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho changed cinema in 1960, not just the horror genre, but cinema in general.

Would we ever have heard of toilet flushing in film otherwise? In 1978, John Carpenter's Halloween proved how profitable the slasher subgenre could be.

Cause like, I'd love to see this restored and see who knows if the original short short exists.

Yeah.

And honestly, there's not much else that, that anybody on this did Richard Cassidy.

He was hired to direct a Danielle Steele movie now and forever.
