Richard Benwell

It is organised by the Wildlife and Countryside Link and if you would like to know more about them...

Then you can head back into our archive to hear an interview with their effervescent leader, Richard Benwell.

Now, at this year's summit, a couple of actors took to the stage to talk about the environment.

One was me.

On the government's 30 by 30 goals, Riddle Carpenter added that it was not simply a target but a national mission and that the government was investing £37 million a year in new funding over the next three years to help national parks and national landscapes recover.

Interviewed by ENDS after Riddle Carpenter's speech, Richard Benwell, chief executive of the Wildlife and Countryside Link, which organised the meeting, said her speech was a welcome change of tone from the previous Labour government.

And finally, the government has committed to tightening limits on the forever chemical PFOS and more.

DEFRA has said it will put forward a statutory instrument to tighten limits on PFOS, a suspected carcinogen, and a group of substances used in flame retardants, as well as ban newly listed persistent organic pollutants, POPs.

We have Helen Wakeham here, who is the head of water at the Environment Agency.

We've got Richard Benwell, who is the head of...

Wildlife and Countryside Link, which is a major nature coalition.

And we've also got Mark Wiltsher here from Ofwat.
