Richard Ayoade

Not an awful lot, but I have been watching Taskmaster, the new season.

Love Richard Ayoade.

Nice.

And I've been playing mostly D&D as well as some board games.

She has released some incredible and underrated albums in the last few years.

If you like artists like julia jacklin and natalie prass and phoebe bridgers check her out there's actually lots on october 27th tomorrow so it's a busy day around the country for gigs we have killers frontman brandon flares he's playing a solo show at the olympia tomorrow we have foy vance brilliant northern irish he's actually from banger i think musician who's playing the wexford spiegel tent on october 27th Richard Ayoade is playing Vicar Street on October 27th and 28th and on Wednesday October 28th we have The Strokes playing the Reality Awaits tour at the Tree Arena.

We have Gurriers who are playing Ulster Hall Belfast on October 28th and Vicar Street on the 29th and also the Olympia in Dublin on November 1st so they're a brilliant new band and it's great to see that they're doing really well.

Alex Cameron is playing the Budden Factory on October 29th.

Freddie is Prince William.

We get Larry and Ayoade as Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond.

We get Patty as Andy Burnham from the future, who's going to kind of infiltrate the sketch at one point and send us in a little bit of a different direction.

And then we'll see Anya also in the Great British Breakout, I should have said.

yeah

So we're heading into one where I'm going to agree even more, John, to be honest, about the double, triple, quadruple, gajillion twisting, which is the Nollywood cinema.

So for people who might not know, Nollywood, like Nigerian Hollywood, so it's Nigerian cinema, that is a big Nigerian community in London, and Ayoade is Nigerian herself, half Nigerian, I think, I'm not sure, but she certainly grew up in Lagos.

And Cynthia Erivo has talked a lot about being of a Nigerian ethnically, but raised in London.

Happy Halloween.

We've got one more bonus episode to come where I'll be joined by Richard Ayoade and Lou Sanders to answer all your burning questions about how Last One Laughing gets made.

Do not miss it.

The Last Laugh.

What did you do? I did a whole...

I did Richard Ayoade hosting an episode of SNL.

I'd love to see that.

Yeah, I did a whole like Charlie XCX sketch where she'd moved on from Brat Summer and it was now Christian Girl Autumn.

It was amazing.

And then there was another one, or was it that one where Ayoade walked in? And she was like, hi, everyone.

And then she sees the poster and just goes, I'm going to work from home.

And just

I enjoyed it.

It wasn't my favorite of the night, but I thought it was beautiful.

And everyone that was in it, Annabelle, Jack, Ayoade, Al, Emma, James, and Celeste, all

brilliant.
