And the people who would go to the SME seminars, the people who would go to the regional events or the sanctional events when we just invented a word and created that whole thing.

the people who would go to those things were the people who ultimately had really drank the kool-aid and so if they saw greg they would know who greg is if they saw just like if they saw a crossfit games athlete rich froning or or catherine or any of the other crosses they would know who they are because it's part of it was so part of their identity not that i was a member of this particular gym or that i did crossfit over here but it was that i was a crossfitter and because i was a crossfitter i understood the whole ecosystem but again I think the number of those people were relatively small that actually understood what was going on in a good way and a bad way.

I mean, the bad way being like they they knew all these the the politics and they knew that the Russ's were out there attacking people.

But they also knew like this SME is is coming to town next week.

Like it was, you know, someone who doesn't like him would say it's like, you know, rules for thee, but not for me.

Like people would always tell you, and this is no surprise, but Greg, you know, doesn't eat the low carb diet that he tells people to eat.

He doesn't practice the, you know, he doesn't look like he's super fit or like, you know, he doesn't look like Rich Froning.

So I think if you were listening to Greg in the sense that he was telling you, here's my philosophy on life and here's what I think you should do to get fit, then listening to that and heeding his advice and following his guidance could lead you to a beautiful place.

He could just win everything.

for years ago I thought Dallin would be the next Rich Froning and then for the last couple years I feel like Sprague has kind of taken that mantle and run with it

very programming dependent which is not so fun to say because I don't like thinking that but the games has more body weight more distance more running and Sprague excels at those things and Dallin's worst finish here was on the run
