Oh my God, it was so good.

I'm kinda weird.

I enjoy rice pudding like an old person.

So if anyone's familiar, it is a brutal process to actually make rice pudding.

When we lived in our apartment before kids and I was-

We ended up doing the Orange Street Fair anyway on Saturday.

So, dude, they're just regular donuts with arroz con leche and walnuts on top.

It's fine.

But it was good

And I love this stuff.

Doug's not a big fan of like, this is kind of one of these things where, you know, sometimes we do things like fish that Sarah can't stand, but it's interesting.

Tom Hamilton came up with this main riff, partially inspired, you mentioned, by the Jeff Beck Group's composition of a song called Rice Pudding.

Rice Pudding Which, strangely enough, when I was talking about my brother, I used to get my bootlegs at English Town Auction in New Jersey.

And the guy who sold them to me had a black t-shirt he wore every Saturday morning that said rice pudding on it.

No fucking idea what that meant.

When I saw this the other day, I called my brother.

[whimsical music] When I was just a kid, my grandma made this special dessert.

It was rice pudding.

Now, if you've never had rice pudding, it, it, it kinda looks like porridge, but it tastes better.

One day, my grandma gave my mum the recipe for the first time, and she was super excited to make it.

She said, "I'm gonna make enough for the whole family.

No, I'll double that." Then she decided to make enough for the neighbors, too, and then she decided to make enough for everyone at her work, and my mum worked at a school.

So at first, she was gonna cook the rice pudding in a saucepan, but by the time she included everyone, she had to make it in the most enormous pot I've ever seen.

It was bigger than a washing machine.

Oh, that looks delicious.

As well as their donut right now is the Arroz con Leche donut.

Cinnamon sugar donut with Arroz con Leche, candied pecans, and spiced chocolate powder.

Delicious.
