Rhymney

So we were long-listed for the Grammy, which absolutely to this day blows my mind.

Just, like, you know, young girl from Rhymney, and we're, like, in, in a list with, you know, reggae giants from across the world.

Um, for me, like, some of these people are literally my heroes in this list, and I can't believe I'm on the same list as them.

But for me, it's massive.

It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, Welsh is for everyone.

Cymraeg yw pawb.

So I really wanted to just keep my own name to show people that even, even a, a young girl from Rhymney, I can get up and learn Welsh, and if I can do that, then you can do that too.

So I kept my name just to show people, you know, you could be whoever you are and still learn Welsh.
