Are there any cons you're looking forward to going or like any upcoming one that you have on your
ZombieXKittenGUEST
82:05
list? I was kind of looking at Rhode Island Comic Con.
ZombieXKittenGUEST
82:13
I mean, I'm in Rhode Island, so I feel like if I don't go to like a home con...
ZombieXKittenGUEST
82:20
I feel like I would get booed, but there's just so many friends that are going.
ZombieXKittenGUEST
82:33
Um, but I have so many friends that are going and I only get to see them like at conventions and I only got to see them at packs cause they don't go to anime Boston.
ZombieXKittenGUEST
82:42
So it's like, I should go, at least for Saturday.
ZombieXKittenGUEST
82:47
But I can't imagine what a fucking Saturday patch looks like for Rhode Island Comic Con, or if they're even offering them
BenHOST
82:53
at this point anymore.
Joey DeCarloHOST
12:26
Can't wait.
Joey DeCarloHOST
12:27
And then, you know, once we come home, it's just time to start getting ready for Rhode Island Comic Con.
Joey DeCarloHOST
12:30
So it's not like, you know, it's not like there's a rest for the wicked.
Joey DeCarloHOST
12:34
But
BeccaHOST
10:31
Talk about throwbacks.
BeccaHOST
10:33
You're gonna see a lot of that at Rhode Island Comic Con next month.
KimHOST
10:35
That would actually be really easy, too.
BeccaHOST
10:37
Scooby-Doo or Charlie's Angels.
TitoHOST
55:23
more.
TitoHOST
55:24
Rhode Island Comic Con is like $90 a day now.
TitoHOST
55:26
Exactly.
TitoHOST
55:27
Rhode Island Comic Con.
BrianHOST
55:28
A pound of beef costs more than a ticket to the Dark Arts Festival.
BrianHOST
55:34
And you can enjoy this all day.
ToddHOST
6:29
I haven't seen anybody
JoeHOST
6:30
... he's gonna be at Rhode Island Comic Con, and I think I'm going, so-
ToddHOST
6:34
Ooh, maybe I'll stop there and see you
JoeHOST
6:34
... well, it's in November, so if you wanna mail it to me.
Matt BookerCORRESPONDENT
42:37
What's next for you? What's
Paul Sun-Hyung LeeGUEST
42:38
next? Next for me is Rhode Island Comic Con in November, and then there's an Anime Con in Pittsburgh in December.
Paul Sun-Hyung LeeGUEST
42:44
Work-wise, I am continuing my role as Inspector Albert Choi, head of Station House No. 4 on Murdoch Mysteries, now entering its 20th season in Canada.
Paul Sun-Hyung LeeGUEST
42:54
I've only been on for a few seasons, but that's what's keeping me busy until the end of the year.
Tim WeisbergHOST
2:56
I actually shared a post yesterday from Danny Pintaro who played, what was his name, Jonathan on Who's the Boss? And he was in Cujo just because it got fed to me in my feed.
Tim WeisbergHOST
3:10
And it was him explaining to people how while the fans think that it's really great that these bigger celebrities are now starting to go to things like Rhode Island Comic Con.
Tim WeisbergHOST
3:23
you know, that they were able to get like Michael Douglas and Alec Baldwin and things like that, that it actually can be a negative for some of the celebrities that are, well, not, I mean, he wasn't being negative about it, but he said, you know, the reality of why you're not seeing me at as many things anymore is because I'm not getting booked for them because they're putting the budget into these bigger folks.
Tim WeisbergHOST
3:48
And they have a larger guarantee that if they don't make the amount of money that they're guaranteed, then the convention has to pay it so that maybe they don't take on as many of the smaller people who might have smaller guarantees but also might not be likely to hit those marks.
FanboyHOST
7:04
I was looking at something on Instagram.
FanboyHOST
7:06
I was scheduling posts and I seen a big thing from Rhode Island Comic Con.
FanboyHOST
7:14
Rhode Island Comic Con, which is not a big con, but They banned all Metaglasses in the entire con for privacy reasons, right? Which is just a bullshit term.
FanboyHOST
7:28
But they banned all Metaglasses.
FanboyHOST
7:30
And the reason why I said I have no dog in the fight, because I wasn't going to Rhode Island Comic Con anyway.
FanboyHOST
7:34
What
The HaterHOST
7:34
do you mean when I call it a Rhode Island Comic Con?
FanboyHOST
7:36
Yeah, fuck them.
Tim WeisbergHOST
4:16
But I also wanted to bring up something that is...
Tim WeisbergHOST
4:25
It's an interesting thing because you may not be going to Rhode Island Comic Con.
Tim WeisbergHOST
4:30
But this is a policy that may start to affect a lot of other events that you do attend.
Tim WeisbergHOST
4:37
And maybe even interfere in your everyday life.
Tim WeisbergHOST
7:59
We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding as we work to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone at Rhode Island Comic-Con.
Tim WeisbergHOST
8:06
So...
Tim WeisbergHOST
8:08
Why would be the reason why you can't wear them to Rhode Island Comic Con? Well, on the surface, when you go to Comic Con and you go to the celebrity areas, the areas where they have even, you know, forgive me, any of you celebrities who are going to be in this area, but what I'm going to refer to as kind of like the B-list celebrities, right? The ones who don't warrant being in this special section with guards and these long lines.
Tim WeisbergHOST
8:44
That's where you have your major, major stars.
Harold BuchholzGUEST
71:00
And then...
Harold BuchholzGUEST
71:01
Rhode Island Comic Con, anybody who's coming to that, check me out at Artist Alley.
Harold BuchholzGUEST
71:05
Those are my big shows coming up in the future.
Harold BuchholzGUEST
71:09
And then I will be on Whatnot shortly, having events where people can just come and hang out with me in my studio.
