Now, does he change? Does he get better with a summer in the gym? Because he lacked a bit of physical strength.

So does he get stronger? People were sceptical about Rhett Bazzo.

They're less sceptical about Rhett Bazzo now.

So these things can change.

over the course of a summer.

Yes.

And Rhett Bazzo.

Actually, he had a massive second half of the year.

But, like, Harry's, you know, touch and go.

Um, and I'm doing a bit of a, you know, a bit of a deep dive into them at the moment, so it's a little bit fresh of mind.

But when you've got a core of guys like Harley Reid, Deersma, Jindi, Rhett Bazzo, Tom McCarthy, um, you know, Beau Allen, Elijah Hewitt, uh, Cooper Duff Tyler, and obviously Josh Shanahan as well, mixed in with a couple of these older players like a Jake Waterman, like an Elliot Yeo, like a Liam Baker, a Jack Graham, they're definitely starting to build a few things there as well.

So I'm not saying there's gonna be a massive spike in success for West Coast, but I, I genuinely see them sort of being an eight or nine win team next season with these guys coming in and the natural development you're gonna see from these players.

So yeah, whilst it was a relatively quiet off-season for the Eagles until sort of the last couple of days, they get those two people over, those two players over, and I think they'll be beneficial.

So for a team that's in the premiership window, um, it makes sense.

Well, Look, I'm sure the West Coast Eagles would love to have him there for a bit of experience and, you know, to assist Rhett Bazzo and, you know, Harry Edwards and Tyler Young and these sorts of guys that are, you know, that are still finding their way in AFL football.

But, yeah, I think it makes great sense.

And if they can talk him out of retirement, I'm sure they'd like to get another season or two out of Nathan Broad.

A-grade might be a bit of a stretch, but I think he could be a very good key forward slash Ruckman for us as well.

Rhett Bazzo maybe as well.

I mean, that might sound a bit of a stretch, but sometimes these key backs develop late, develop slowly, and don't necessarily come from the pointy end of the draft.

So I'll just throw a few other tools there at you to consider.
