Rhema

And then number two, as the portion of scripture that contains the life of God, that contains the ways of God, that contains the wisdom of God.

Then there is what we generally know as rhema.

Rhema here talks about, um, it talks about It is the word bespoke.

Revealed word, but not just revealed word, it is bespoke to bring unique solutions to you.

So when you talk about a rhema word, that means the Holy Ghost has breathed through this letter of scripture and he has quickened a word, are we together, to bring a unique solution that is to you.

That solution cannot be made doctrinal because the solution attends to your unique needs.

It's called a rhema word.

Rhema word.

Let's dig in a little.

You encounter Him as the Word in all His dimensions, Grafe, Logos, Rhema, Living Word.

You encounter Him as the Spirit in all His dimensions, the Presence, the Glory, the Anointing.

But when you do, and genuinely do, three things are born.

You cannot hear rhema unless rhema is spoken.

Now, rhema is not just you're opening your Bible and reading it out loud.

Rhema is what the Holy Ghost speaks to you at the moment that you need it because your faith was faltering.

And when you were just about to give up because you were confused and frustrated and afraid, and God says to you, trust in the Lord.

Put your trust in the Lord.

So then,

now then, faith comes by faith.

part of the reason why the world does not listen to us is that we have encounters with God and we can come as brethren but we have nothing that the world can understand so that it can relate to that that is what scripture will say let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works so you can have you can have time with God But you walked out of that place and you didn't carry anything along with you.

So when you come, you can share Rema with another believer.

The believer will know this brother is deep.

This brother has had an encounter.

I've been reading the Bible just in my own home and suddenly just hear a voice and the words become audible in my ear and just break down sobbing because I can feel the presence of God.

Rhema is the seed of all faith.

the utterance of God.

And I don't care what anybody tells you, you don't ever really get it until you get Rima.

I'd heard it at church and never knew what they meant.

But it's that difference between what they call the Logos word of God and the Rhema word of God.

The Rhema is the now word.

That's like a pastime.

A new revelation, essentially.

It's this work of God that is done in our hearts, and our responsibility is to respond to it, to believe it, to fan into flame the work that God has already begun.

the word is near us it's in our mouth it's in our heart and as jesus said the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart so when the words of a confession come out of somebody's mouth if it's sincerely coming from their heart because of the work that god has been doing within them they will be saved everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved and this is a major central statement of the chapter Because how are they going to call on him if they've not believed? And how are they going to believe if they haven't heard the message? And how will they hear without someone preaching? How is the Rhema word going to illumine the Logos word if no one's ever shared the Logos word? How will they preach unless they are sent? Paul is working backward through this process that leads to the gospel going forward in hearts and minds of people around the world.

They believe because they hear.

They hear because someone speaks the message to them.
