Two police officers were injured after a suspect vehicle crashed into their cruiser during a break-in investigation in Rexdale.

Police were called to the Islington and Elmhurst Drive area around 2.30 a.m. for reports that someone was breaking into a parked vehicle.

So, um, uh, he told me that his relationship with that woman was going downhill, and, um, I started to no- he w- he wouldn't, he wasn't staying at that house anymore.

He was staying at another house he had in Rexdale with his mother-in-law and his brother, who was a lifelong criminal and had, had just been out of jail.

So he was living there.

And, um, I asked him why he was out of there, and he goes, "Well, I'm divorcing her, and, um, uh, we don't get along anymore." And, uh, but I said, "But why, why, why are you here in the first place?" He said, "I was kicked out because I had bedbugs." And that was over two years ago.
