Rexall

And the environment he grew up in accommodated that obsession in ways that seem entirely alien to us today.

Because when Steve was a kid, and we're talking pre-1970 here, he could literally walk into a local Rexall drugstore in Mill Valley, California and buy industrial, highly reactive chemicals.

Just off the street.

Just off the street, he would walk up to the pharmacist, ask for the specialized catalog behind the counter, hand over a postal money order, and a few weeks later, he'd walk out with bottles of ether, chloroform, nitric acid, and acetic anhydride.

Because when I hear the word vitamins, I just have to interrupt with two words that come right into my mind, Rexall plenumens.

They are the vitamins we have at our house and the ones I always recommend to my friends.

So when you think about vitamins, remember Rexall Plenimans.
