All right, we're moving on with Six-Gun Sunday.

We're packing.

Some of them are five shots, but that's okay.

If I get a good Katana at some point, I'll probably take the Mantis Blades out and swap them for a different set of arms.

But I think I might end up with a Katana and a Revolver kind of build at some point.

Okay.

That's just sort of what I'm thinking.

And this is something you and I briefly talked about not too long ago.

Revolver or semi-automatic, which is best for home protection?

Semi-automatic.

Well, you can switch the magazines faster and reload.

Revolver's going to have six shots, maybe seven.

And then once you're done, then this takes longer to reload.

It's got to start from the owners embracing the promoters or the owners embracing their music policy to set that up in the first place.

You don't have Revolver without the owners wanting it to be Revolver, right? It doesn't just happen by accident.

Think of Q-Bar.

You know, when they opened, they approached me to play at Q-Bar from the start on the Friday night.

The company that did that is, of course, the parent company Veeps owned by Live Nation.

Here's what happened.

On the first week of August, Veeps, which is the live streaming company started by the Madden brothers, announced they're cutting all editorial staff at the famed and loved independent outlet Brooklyn Vegan, as well as Alternative Press, Revolver, Goldmine, and Metal Edge.

Beeps, of course, the live streaming company that Joel and Benji Madden founded in 27, that Live Nation bought a majority stake in in 2021.

The magazines got pulled under that roof sometime last year.

I don't know how you feel about any of these outlets or if you ever read or were on all these outlets.

The Latin evolvere means to roll out or away.

Revolvere means to roll back to a starting point, and devolvere means to roll something down.

In its earliest uses in the 15th century, devolve literally meant to roll onward or downward.

Today, the word is typically used for a more figurative rolling down, as when an organization devolves power, that is, passes power down, to those at a lower level of authority or or when a deteriorating situation is described as devolving into chaos.
