Return to Zork

I'm going to go to one that I don't know that anyone else here has ever played this game, let alone face this boss.

I'm talking about Morpheus from Return to Zork.

um hernazorg is a game a lot of people haven't played it's very very old school it's a very old school franchise it's like a graphic novel kind of franchise um and this was like a graphic adventure style so the first one where they actually had visuals in the game because normally it was just all a text-based game back in the day um but morvius is he's really difficult he's the m boss in the game and and just getting to him is hard enough like example you gotta have consumed an invisibility potion to even approach him which is something the game doesn't tell you so you'll just get wrecked just approaching him if you didn't take the invisibility potion and then you have to even know how to make the invisibility potion because the game doesn't do a good job telling you that either this is back in the day man they didn't hold your hand for shit You had to figure out everything.

There was no walkthroughs back then, so there was no way to know this stuff.

and this final board game is kind of i don't really know how to describe it it's kind of like chinese go but not it's kind of like chess but it's not it's its very own game called survivor um and you basically from what i can tell anyways have to play the game perfectly or you will lose every time It's very complex to understand the rules.

You learn it throughout the game, how to play different variations of what ends up being this final game called Survivor.

But it's a very thinking man's game, Return to Zorkas.

Very much every decision you make actually matters.

I was going to bring that up because I wanted to mention some of your credits.

I know some of them were just guest spots and things like that, but you were in the movie The Heist, The Return to Zork, Double Deception, Pet Shop, the TV series Silk Stockings, Police Story, like you just mentioned, Major Dad.

I mean, I used to watch Major Dad and Silk Stockings, so I remember those shows.

Yeah, those were some of the shows.

The Myst falls into the same category as, um, like Return to Zork, where it's sort of a point and click adventure.

Uh-huh.

Obviously, you know, more t- more technical, technol- technologically advanced w- Myst is the one of those that is.
