And then the pressure that you're seeing is just basically the descending pressure or the alveolar pressure or Or if you do a hold, right, we do an inspiratory hold, we get what's called a plateau pressure after we've delivered the breath.

So once you know these sort of basic, I won't say they are basic, but basic makes it sound sort of like too mundane or too banal, but these are really important concepts that we don't teach well You know, we don't teach these well to fellows, residents, so like attending level physicians, let alone RTs, let alone the rest of the sort of the team members.

But part of this has been like, you know, this is important, I think, to know because if everyone is seeing the same thing, much like with you know, this or, or this stuff.

So you guys are seeing these waveforms, like at the bedside, you're, you know, automatically, you know, is the swan like malposition? Does the waveform, has it changed? Right.

Yeah, absolutely.

So in addition to the COPD Foundation, the other two organizations that I travel with or have traveled with is the American Association for Respiratory Care, the ARC.

They do an annual fly in.

They actually do a couple of them, but the big one is coming up in June.

But when you're saying that, are you saying email your state representative at the federal level or email your city representative at a state level? Which representatives are you emailing when you're advocating?

It depends on what level you're advocating for.

You're, like, a little bit of an anesthesiologist, a little bit of a nurse, a little bit of...

had a few years jumping from the pediatric hospital and then to the like did a year there i was like this is cool but it's the same six things over and over and over again and as much as i love dealing with parents when it's like one every 50 people i can't do it when it's all parents so i'm gonna i'm gonna bounce i'm gonna go back to adults i miss them so went to the trauma center kind of stuck around there and then needed a full-time line The kids were born and they're starting to grow up and I'm like, okay, we need some structure and ended up falling into my job now, which is an emergency department, which is like a little sister, a little brother of kind of the larger healthcare system.

So a little bit rural, but we've got a CT. We've now got RTs 24 seven, God bless.

And then COVID hit and it was just, yeah.

chaos as per anybody who was even remotely paying attention during that time whether you were bedside in hospital in home clinics management like nobody came away unscathed and so up in Canada there were a group of lawyers that had come forward and and with the best intentions were like we'd love to do everybody's you know all these frontline responders their wills for free And at the time, unfortunately, all we heard was, you're not going to make it.

You know, I don't know.

So I just feel like we need to normalize that too.
