Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

For its legacy, Code Veronica's storyline was adapted into the Resident Evil Survivor 2 Code Veronica, a 2001 light gun shooter released for arcades and had the, in fact, longest name available on the arcade and would go on to be released for the PS2.

A similar light gun game, The Darkside Chronicles, also is set during the events of Code Veronica and Resident Evil 2.

In 2026, a remake was announced during the Summer Game Fest just called Resident Evil Veronica.

It's scheduled for release in 2027, where you can expect Capcom to upscale the polygons and do one slight modification to one character model and add five minutes of cinematics and call it good.

Um, and some of the new plot in The Darkside Chronicles.

And then, and then just kinda as, like, time has gone on, they've made The Connections more prominent as the new bad guy.
