Jasnia Ang finished second in the women's ILCA six behind Thailand's Sophia Montgomery, while Sean Kam and Nigel Tan were runners-up in the boys' twenty-niner duo behind Hong Kong.

The Republic of Singapore Navy has launched the first of four new offshore patrol vessels.

Called the Sentinel and made in Germany, it is nearly twice as long as the vessels it will replace.

The new ships, with three still under construction, are designed for maritime security missions and can also respond to unmanned threats such as drones.
