Reptile

Now, Rob, maybe you know more about the games than me and can answer this.

I have long interpreted the popularity of characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, and so forth in these games to be a sort of efficiency or cost-cutting move because they are the same animation with just different colors of the outer ninja wear.

Like, the, the animation could be exactly the same.

Yes.

You don't have to completely start from scratch on your next character.

The same character sprite except blue for Sub-Zero, yellow for Scorpion, and green for Reptile.

So it is kind of interesting that some of the most iconic, most developed, and fan-favorite characters in the game are the interchangeable ninjas.

oh man but it was it was fun like i i don't dislike this at all and the best part of all is it really has scorpion in it like the real real scorpion from the video game and the real

sub-zero real reptile although cgi is a little rough at times but

oh well i haven't gotten there yet But I do love Reptile.

I went a little past what we were intending to watch.

I saw his name on IMDb, so I know.

And they got Noob Saibot on there already, so I imagine Reptile's there.

She just kind of brings him up to speed, and then you have Kano tied to a chain driller to a chair, which is kind of funny.

uh and then it all goes sideways that's where we we see um i was gonna say scorpion for a second but we see reptile who is a literal reptile like they tried to do in the first movie but due to cgi budgets looked more like a weird looking pac-man freak thing It was interesting to see this interpretation of Reptile.

I was kind of expecting more of the classic, but again, they were trying to reinvent these characters and put a different spin on it.

I liked the acid blood, the tongue attack, the whole him going invisible, all that crazy stuff, and them having to adapt on the fly, and also conveniently burning down half of their trailer, which is kind of funny.

And then It shows that they can, even though they do not have their abilities yet, they are able to handle themselves well enough to take on these otherworldly characters.

Because to be fair, Reptile is kind of crazy.

And then you get the cheesy Kano line when he punches his hole through his chest and he rips his heart out and he's like, victory or flawless victory or whatever that he says.

But prior to that, Kano just takes so much abuse.
