He played for Renfrew in the Central Canadian Hockey League last season, and he joined the Jacks in time for games over the weekend.

For anyone who hears the word deforestation and wants to argue about how much forests there still are between Pembroke and Ottawa, I'll point out that much of that is newer growth forest.

Next time you take a stroll in a park, arboretum, or some local glen or wood, count the number of trees that you wouldn't be able to wrap your arms around and touch your fingertips on the other side.
