Renato López

Hey, real quick, breaking news from the beat that's there in Chicago.

Renato Lopez is going back to the injured list-

Yeah

... with a shoulder issue, shoulder discomfort.

So that means J.R., yeah, J.R. Richie's gonna be called up to start Wednesday's game.

Um, that'll be the corresponding move, but there you go.

So Renato Lopez on the injured list.

Kind of answers a lot as far as what do you do-

They had a chance and he got out of it, but then they turned around and they scored three in the second.

When you look at how this roster's done, there's only 51 plate appearances across the entire Chicago roster against Renato Lopez.

Michael Conforto's two for three with a double and three walks.

Ian Happ is one for eight with four strikeouts.

Strikeout rate's below 20%.

Walk rate is almost 10%.

So that difference is like 9.7%, which Renato Lopez's difference is in the same ballpark.

Renato's like 11.9% or whatever.
