But, yeah, then we had our final preliminary tag team matchup.
SP3HOST
It was, once again, the House of Torture being represented by Ren Narita and NJPW World Television Champion Shun Skywalker against Toriyano and Konosuke Takeshita following up.
SP3HOST
From the post-match from Destruction in Kobe, you get House of Torture who ambushed their opponents before the opening bell.
SP3HOST
Takeshita had enough.
Damon McDonaldHOST
Were they all
JoelHOST

Uh, let's see.
AndyHOST
This is really fun.
AndyHOST
It's Ren Narita and Shoota Skywalker versus Toru Yano and, uh, Takeshita, right? And you're thinking, "Oh, this is g- you know, this is like Shoota Skywalker versus Takeshita type shit going on." And it is kinda at the beginning, but then Yano just wins.
AndyHOST
He just be- [laughs] he just, it's a low blow.
AndyHOST
[laughs] Fucking hits the Yano special and right in the life makers, uh, you know, on Shoota Skywalker, and wins, and now he's gonna get a title shot for the, um, you know, the, the, the Speed Championship, the TV title, right? Which is a perfect...
Case LoweHOST
In the same way that I wish that Aaron Wolf wouldn't have spent the first seven months of his career exclusively wrestling the House of Torture.
Case LoweHOST
Uh, let, let's just say that Kikosuke Takeshita and Toru Yano versus Ren Narita and Shun Skywalker wouldn't have been the match that I put on paper for this show, but it's, it's something that they're doing with him.
Case LoweHOST
And I think that Skywalker is so good that even if he wants to try to make the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, that analogy that you always use, I think he's so good that the second they give him any room to not do that, people are gonna be blown away by him.
Case LoweHOST
I, I j- I maintain that I am super, super bullish on Shun Skywalker's New Japan Pro-Wrestling career.
B-RobHOST
Oh.
Kaz WheelerHOST
Uh, Toru Yano and Kenosk Takeshi defeat Ren Narita and Shun Skywalker.

B-RobHOST
And it had all the accolades.
Jeremy DonovanHOST
[smacks lips] So then, uh, following that we had Robbie X and Taichi Ishimori defeating Tatsuya Matsumoto and Yo, so this was a, uh, preview for the, uh, Robbie X and Yo title match.
Jeremy DonovanHOST
Then we had Dick Togo, Ren Narita, and Shun Skywalker defeating Master Wato, Shota Umino, and Toru Yano.
Jeremy DonovanHOST
So we've kind of seen the direction being built for, uh, Shun and Toru Yano, so that's kinda what this match was, uh, heading towards.
Josh SmithHOST
Can't wait for that.
14 MINS LATER

CharlieHOST
We gotta get our boy a better tag partner.
Jeremy DonovanHOST
So then, uh, following that we had Robbie X and Taichi Ishimori defeating Tatsuya Matsumoto and Yo, so this was a, uh, preview for the, uh, Robbie X and Yo title match.

ChampHOST
This was a preview of the next night's action between X and Yo for the Junior Heavyweight Championship.
ChampHOST
Master Wato would, uh, be on the losing end with Toru Yano, Shotaro Umino over Shun Skywalker, Dick Togo, and Ren Narita, and I'm sure that Sage was absolutely happy that Shun Skywalker put Wato down with Skyfall.
ChampHOST
Uh, Jeff Cobb and Daiki Nihei would defeat Zane Jay and Callum Newman.
ChampHOST
