wow and how cool is that it was the best thing it was a such a huge moment in my life for that to happen and probably like you it was a ratty crummy old tama kit that somebody had taken the wrap off and then they re-wrapped it in red felt and it didn't have any bottom heads to it and it was just pretty run down and I remember I saved my lawn mowing money up and bought new heads for it, black dot Remo heads, because that was the only thing I knew what to get.

I had enough money to buy a pre-tuned drum set.

and just started playing with them.

And just the fun of playing cover songs and eventually writing your own songs was so much fun to me.

And the therapist is delivering a drum to their right side, and the kiddo has to use their right hand to come across their body and hit the drum, and then the therapist will deliver the other drum on the left side, and the kiddo has to use their left hand to come across their body to drum.

Um, when I think about facilitating drumming, I'm thinking about like, you know, simple is better.
