And I did manage to get one of my absolute smallest clients on a sort of a setup like this because they desperately wanted to use their, uh, their VM server as another workstation.

And so I set them up with a Remmina shortcut on the desktop of the host operating system that they could double-click to remote control the, the Windows virtual machine that was running their application server so that one of the, the barbers could sit there and, [chuckles] you know, enter appointments in their, on their lunch break in the little room where the little server was.

But even at that small a scale, like a five-employee business where they knew perfectly well they were asking for something janky, and they wanted it janky if it would save them money and let them do the thing, there were still paper cuts, and I still got occasional calls from people who were confused about what they needed to do.

Yeah, there's kind of two different approaches here.

So I'm also gonna use VNC.

Uh, I'll use Remmina as the client, and as I said before, tight VNC.

Uh, the reason for local why I prefer VNC is over, uh, XRDP because I've found that XRDB, whether it's remote or local, it'll work beautifully for maybe up to an hour.

Then after that it will start, uh, cutting out and having all these issues while VNC doesn't have that.

That's it.

So all I need to do is now open up, uh...
