They had such a crazy commercial success, and then he became, like, too into the band.

Like, so they had the Black Album, then he was the producer for Load, Reload, and then eventually, like, when Jason Newsom left, like, he played bass, I think, on Sane Anger.

Oh,

But This this idea that there are certain bands that seem like they're the most important bands in the world, you know, Messiah, we're here to save rock and roll kind of thing.

And I think I think there's some sort of self-important sounding things on Load and Reload.

And yeah, that whole that whole image, that look.

was terrible for them.

Um, and three is a little bit of their cult Sonic temple, little, little watered down, little second guessing, little, little corporate, um, But to me, to me, those albums and even Black Album just got a little bit of that alternative goth sort of feel to

them.

96 was Load, Reload 97.

What are the were the fans hard on those albums at the time? I mean, were they fair in that criticism? Because that wasn't the Metallica they wanted at the time, I don't think.

Anger are the holy trinity of crap albums from Metallica.

So I'm going to stay away from them for right now.

uh i i am curious to see though depending on how this all pans out if um sin anger is gonna be one of those ones where it's like oh if we had picked that uh whoever would have picked it could have won but um because because i know that is considered to be the worst metallic album and the most derided uh but there are there are some people who might like that album so i don't know I guess we shall find out.

Load has some, but Load also, for me, has some stinkers.

I would take Reload.

Did King Nothing, dude? King Nothing's a banger.

I would take even more insane than yours.

I mean, not as insane as Load is your favorite Bataga album, but I would take Reload Overload.

So I'm diving into the DVDs of the Reload box set.

I collect bootlegs and made my own CD of the show a while back.
